Who the wip are we?

Frank Capurso
Frank is the architect behind wipwrk's ethical business model and sustainable mission.
By title a mechanical engineer, but in reality, that and so much more. Years of experience in the medical design field have tuned his already exceptional systematic and abstract problem-solving skills across a range of successful product releases. This ability, paired with a deep curiosity about ethical business and how we might shift society towards a circular materials economy makes him the perfect head man for an initiative like wip.
When he's not deep in the world of wipwrk you'll find Frank working on his prehistoric Range Rover or hiking through Tasmanian rainforests.
He hopes that wip will one day be at the forefront of material upcycling in Australia and a north star for other businesses and startups trying to help the shift towards material circularity.
By then, we also hope the Range Rover will be in one piece and out of the garage.
Let's just say we have more faith in the success of wipwrk.

Ben Wood
Ben is the mastermind behind the products at wipwrk.
An industrial designer by trade and a soft goods expert by experience, Ben's got the skills to make anything we dream up at wipwrk.
An avid boulderer, snowboarder, and surfer, Ben's passion for the outdoors has guided his career to this point (looking good so far eh?).
Having finished his studies in Finland, where he pushed the boundaries of textile technology, and going on to spend time in Australia's automotive industry, Ben's breadth of experience has put him in the box seat to reimagine how textiles can look beautiful, long after their official shelf life.
When he's out of the lab, he's in the kitchen getting the whole house salivating with his food. Luckily for everyone at wipwrk, his second favourite thing is sharing.
